Wine Information
Jean Baptiste Adam has been in Alsace over 400 years with a reflection of 14 generations of improvement. The estate was founded in 1614. In 1982, Jean Baptiste Adam, the current president, joins the family estate and conducts his first vinification after finishing his winemaking degree at the prestigious University of Beaune. He established strict internal guidelines to develop viticulture more respectful for the ecosystem. The conversion of vines in organic and biodynamic farming marked a new start in 2004.
In 2012, Laure, Jean Baptiste Adam's daughter, joined the company as the 15th generation to perpetuate the spirit and know-how of the house. After studying viticulture and oenology, a Master's MBA in Wine, Commerce and Management, she took the time to perfect her knowledge through various professional experiences in Italy and London. On the technical side, her finesse and elegance bring feminine touch to the vinification of wines. Engaged in viticulture and ecology and passionate about gastronomy, member of the Divines d'Alsace.

The estate of Jean Baptiste Adam stands out as a true landmark in the long, storied history of Alsace winemaking.
